New Covenant Christian Fellowship (NCCF) was established in 1987 as part of a church planting movement in Rhode Island. In 1991 Chap Bettis stepped into the supported elder role part-time. In that same year, the congregation bought a small building in Lincoln, RI, and changed its name to Lincoln Christian Fellowship. Later, in 2006, the church bought a building in Attleboro, MA, where we now meet.

Doctrinally, we intend to be “graciously Reformed,” reflecting the content and tone of Wayne Grudem’s Systematic Theology. The leaders are in agreement with groups like Together for the Gospel, 9 Marks ministries, the Council for Biblical Manhood and Womanhood, and the Gospel Coalition.

After God moved Chap into a new ministry in the Fall of 2012, the church prayerfully sought additional pastoral leadership. This search led to NCCF calling John Power as preaching pastor, a role which John began in June of 2013. As a church, we intend to display the glory of God in Christ to our community and to the world.
